FROM THE PRINCIPALS DESK

It was once again evident on Friday at the School Carnival, that our parents are extremely supportive and so

very enthusiastic. Not even the wind and extreme temperatures dampened the spirits of the parents who

came to support and assist. A heart-felt thanks to all the staff and parents who supported this really

successful event. A special word of thanks to the P.T.A for all the planning and the behind the scene work

such an event entails, and for their infectious enthusiasm which made Friday such a resounding success.

A special word of thanks to Rinette Crafford and Riette van der Nest, for all the hours of hard work thatplanning such a huge project as this entails and which culminated in such a successful fund-raising event.

The grade 7 prefects attended the annual prefect camp this past weekend, which was reported to be a

resounding success. Thank you to Mrs Els who co-ordinated the weekend and to the teachers who assisted.

The theme that we have been focusing on at school with the children during the past few weeks is Honesty.

Please use this opportunity to re-inforce this value with your children at home.

I wish each and every one a most pleasant and fulfilled week ahead.

Surfers:

On Saturday the 8thof March a few of our school

surfers participated in their first Surf

competitions. Ashton Lang came firstin the one

division. Logan Shelverand Tristan Botesparticipated and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
