Pentad Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd is a South African based, registered Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Con-sulting Practice that operates both locally and internationally. Our head office is situated in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our other South African office is located in Pretoria and we also have offices in Botswana, Mozambique and Mauritius. Pentad is an empowered company with a Level 2 B-BBEE rating. Pentad has been verified on the Construction Built-Environment Professionals Generic Scorecard and is also a Value Adding Supplier allowing our Clients to obtain 156.25% Procurement Recognition when utilising our Professional Services. We pride ourselves on our efforts to continuously provide professional service of the highest standard, and in so doing to remain at the forefront of the information technology industry. Our Directors adopt a personal “hands-on” approach to help create an atmosphere of innovation conducive to lateral thinking and a pro-active approach to the project. It is this approach that helps to keep us on the cutting edge of the market. Pentad ’s philosophy is reflected in our slogan “controlled numbers“ which endorses our practice’s commitment to a pro-active approach on all projects. Based on the company's current and completed projects and our previous experience we see ourselves as a unique team of specialists with the necessary knowledge, expertise and experience to assist the client from project concept, through implementation up to successful completion. During April 2013, Pentad Quantity Surveyors has formed an alliance with Rider Levett Bucknall as its Partner in Afri-ca. Rider Levett Bucknall has over 3,000 staff operating from more than 100 offices. This will provide Pentad with global access to additional knowledge, resources, enhanced systems, and an extended client base. This will help us to service our local clients globally and throughout Africa. Pentad will be RLB's gateway and facilitate their "reach" into Africa, whilst sharing local knowledge with them.
