Pepper Gallery is honoured to host an exclusive VIP preview evening for the renowned Argentinian artist Eduardo Hoffmann in Mayfair on 22 September 2015. The show will be opened to the public on 23 September only.Eduardo Hoffmann was born in 1957. After his career as an aspiring national rugby player for Argentina was cut short for medical reasons, he threw himself into the world of art, and studied at the University Nacional de Cuyo with Zravko Ducmelic. Eduardo has had a prestigious career as a painter for more than 35 years. Eduardo’s works are well known in Argentina, America and Europe and have featured in some of the largest international art fairs as well as in many museums and private collections around the world. Since 1988 he has had solo exhibitions in Argentina, Vienna, Chicago, Brazil, Madrid and France. He has participated in the Venice Biennale, Documenta Kassel, ArteBa, Art New York, Basel Miami, Art Colonia, Art Miami, Art Basel, Art Palm Beach, Art Chicago, Arco Madrid, Sparta Brasil, FIAC Paris. With auctions of his work at Christies, Phillips NY Pury and Sotheby’s, Eduardo’s reach into the secondary market is a further testament to his growing global following.Pepper Gallery is now proud to be presenting his work to the UK for the first time.In this show, we have selected two sides of Eduardo’s abstract expressionist work by combining some of Eduardo’s darker, monochromatic canvases reminiscent of totemic, iconic and even prehistoric paintings, with their very counterpart, giant explosions of contemporary colours and energy. “I am delighted to be presenting this fantastic selection of Eduardo’s work to the UK audiences for the first time“, said Beatrice Ridley, Director of Pepper Gallery. “The inherent yin and yang
