Made for each other, Made by Camira. Our treated fabrics are designed and manufactured by us to work beautifully together on furniture.As well as being waterproof, stain repellent, flame retardant and anti-microbial, using tighter weaves creates flatter surfaces that are more easily cleaned. Recycled yarn from our own manufacturing waste, dyed to black, helps to conceal stains while adding a textural dimension.

Challenging projects should still challenge the status quo.It’s not always necessary to cover every surface in a waterproof material.In this example, Vita vinyl is used to create an easy, wipe down seating area but Camira’s best-selling Blazer Quilt wraps around to add tactile and textural interest in an area with minimal exposure to staining. Wool also has natural stain repellent and anti-microbial properties. Truly intelligent design.

Sometimes the most successful design choices are born out of constraints. There’s no choice but to get creative.When ‘wipe and go’ is an essential element of the specification and even treated fabrics are a ‘no go’, combining vinyls can still create an interesting and design led environment.

Vita is a leather-look vinyl, with a subtle surface grain effect and full matt appearance.

Want an environmentally friendly alternative in the fight against spills and stains?Camira’s team of innovators present Track and Trail, especially engineered for use as removable, washable upholstery. No treatments are applied to these luxurious Trevira CS fabrics.

Thick enough to soak up the stain and be shrink resistant to 60oC, machine-washing fabrics keeps them fresher for longer and allows for a softer, comfier aesthetic compared to vinyl.

Please note this fabric is not waterproof or stain-proof as it is untreated and designed to be machine washed instead.
