Modules Overview There are 5 modules on the Venipuncture essential knowledge.

1) Standard Precaution, 2) Basic Anatomy of the Upper Limbs, 3) Types of Venipuncture Equipment, 4) Issues related to Venipuncture 5) Vein consideration for Venipuncture.

There will be 2 modules on Skills Performance

1)Select Basic items for Venipuncture 2)Demonstrate the correct steps for blood collection.

Upon successful completion of classroom learning, participants will hone their Venipuncture skills at their respective industries. The industry qualified mentors will oversee participants’ on-the-job practices until they are competent. The minimal clinical attempts stipulated is in accordance to with industry requirement and trainers’ recommendation during classroom assessment. Practice makes perfect! But bear in mind safety is important.
