Oct. 6th- “Just Breathe”: Tips for Reducing Stress. Nov. 3rd- “Busy Bees”: Balancing the Demands of Daily Life.
Dec. 1st- “Holiday Hurdles”: Finding Your Own Happy in the Holidays. Jan. 5th- “Make it Stop”: “The Heckler”, “the Heckled”’ and the “What the Heck”?
Feb. 2nd- “Serenity Now”: The Four Pillars of Well-Being— Social, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual.
You may attend only one session, or as many as you like. No need to register, just drop-in, fill your plate at the buffet, and pay an FCSS staff member. $6 for lunch and water,
but additional beverages are extra. Presented by Bev Edwards, Vulcan Community Health Centre.

*4-6 pm-Hot dog Roast & Fireside Jam Party At Camp Carmangay (BYOI-Bring Your Own Instrument)
Youth aged 12-17 are invited to participate in the “Serve Carmangay Youth Work/Party.
Youth, with adult volunteers, will work together to make a difference in the
Carmangay community by taking part in fall yard cleanups for Carmangay residents. The residents can have work done in their yard at no charge, but will need to provide
the necessary tools and materials. Carmangay residents are also invited to the fireside jam party at Camp Carmangay:
free hot dog and hot chocolate
Each youth volunteer will receive a $10 A&W or Subway gift card.. $25 gas gift card available for each parent for transporting their children
from outside the community.

Give an adult with a disability who resides in long term care something to look forward to! Meet a new person, share a hobby,
play a game or two or give back to your community. We need Friendly Visiting volunteers to match up with
a resident in long term care who lives in Vulcan. Visit times are flexible - we can accommodate your schedule!

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Calgary) is offering free public stargazing at the Trek Center in Vulcan on
Friday, October 09th, 2015 at 19:30. Short indoor presentation on “The Demon Star Algol”and then we’ll check the heavens on
our 11” telescope outside. Opportunity to snap your own smartphone photos of the Moon, planets with more plus views pictures from other participants.
Refreshments served and all welcome for no charge. Held the second Friday monthly at 19:30.
