About Montreal!
WHYMONTREAL?In 2006, Daniel and Michael travelled to Montreal with some of our closest friends to support other friends compe;ng in the Gay Games. We fell in love with this European‐style city then, and decided to celebrate our wedding in a place that has had full marriage equality since 2004. OLDMONTREALAll wedding events take place within a 5 block radius in this picturesque and roman;c sec;on of Montreal. The historic, once‐walled district of one of North America’s largest ci;es was seLled by the French in 1642. Interes;ngly, Montreal is now the second‐largest French‐speaking metropolis outside of Paris in the Northern Hemisphere (don’t worry though, it is completely bi‐lingual). The Wedding Registry!
HatchOurHouse: hLp://www.hatchmyhouse.com/component/hmh/2011_05_28_Michael_Dumlao_&_Daniel_Arrieta.html
Welcome to Hatch My House ‐ an online registry where you can contribute to Michael Dumlao & Daniel Arrieta's house fund in an interac;ve way. When Daniel and I got engaged, it was a shining moment in what has and will con;nue to be a long and beau;ful story about love and life. A story filled with moments and memories lived with friends and family like you who we fully expect will play integral roles as this tale plays out for many years to come. Aner we get married on May 28, 2011 (and aner we return from our honeymoon in Greece soon aner), our story turns towards a new dream: one with countertops, windowpanes, brass knobs and a lavish guest room (or at least a comfy couch) where you're always welcome to crash. To get there, we welcome the assistance. So we created this dream home registry, hoping that we can con;nue to build memories with you while we build our new home.
