Product Features

The UrbanMed self adhesive Bandage matches as well for the fi rst aid of small and bigger injuries as for after care and protection reasons.

The Bandage is tearable by hand, so it allows fast and uncomplicated aid. Because of the fl exible tex-ture the bandage can be adapted to the body struc-tures without limiting the movements.

Injuries at the legs, paws, belly or the tail can be sup-plied very easily and reliable. Even under adverse conditions and under extreme charges this bandage offers optimum protection. It is water resistant, highly elastic (the joints remain movable), breathable, non-sticky to hair or skin and can be removed without any remains. A wound pat should be used with bleeding wounds. If there is a heavily bleeding wound the bandage can be used as a pressure bandage to pro-mote circulation and healing.

We offer this bandage in over 10 different colours as well as over 10 different pattern printings. Special colours or patterns can be made according to cus-tomers wishes.

The standard packings are:

blister packing (single roll)

packing in box (single roll)

packing in polybag (single roll)

packing in a box with 12 or 24 rolls

Private label and individual printing is possible. Other packing possibilities according to your require-ments.

Sales promotion in different display variants are possible.

Tips for use

A good bandage should guarantee three things: haemostatic and/or

wound protection and/or

immobilization

Example for Paw Bandage:1. Remove foreign bodies (just as broken glass or

thorns) if possible

2. If necessary please remove hairs of the wound area

3. Clean the wound und use a disinfectant if necessary

4. Prepare the wound pad (gauze) and use an ointment (if necessary)

5. Put the wound pat around the paw

6. Now put on the UrbanMed Bandage, fi rstly vertical and then crosswise wrap.

7. The ankle/wrist joint should also be wraped in order to guarantee an optimal just.

For heavily bleedings it is also possible to tie the bleeding above the wound. In this case the bandage should be put on with a little bit more pressure.

Please notice that this is only recommended in emer-gency.

Important:a) The bandage should be put on without slipping or

cutting into the skin.

b) Just ensure on the upper side of the bandage that one little fi nger can be put between the fur and the bandage. This guarantees an optimal use.

c) Please note that the limbs should remain in a phys-iological (natural) position.
