Table I By the time you graduate, you must complete 12-16
courses from Table I.
Table II and Minors
By the time you graduate, you must complete 7-11 courses from Table II.
you can choose to complete one or two minors by taking 6 courses (per minor) in one of these areas:
Information Systems; Law; Human Resources Management; Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management; Marketing; Sociology; Psychology; Criminal Justice; Politics and Governance; English; History; News Studies; Professional Communication; Chemistry; etc.
It’s up to you to complete all the requirements for options and minors. If you do, they will appear on your transcript.
School / Work / Life Balance
You’re “only” in 15 hours of class per week.
A good rule of thumb: for every hour you’re in class, you should be devoting another hour to preparing for that class, doing assignments for that class, etc.
So, 15 hour in class + 15 hours of study = 30 hours a week.
Another good rule of thumb: don’t take a job that demands more than 10-15 hours a week. (30 + 15 = 45).
PS: On-campus jobs are great!

What if you Need Help?

(2) If you become ill, have your doctor sign a Ryerson Medical Certificate immediately. You can use the Ryerson Clinic too.
