Scholarships applications are available in

the office for graduating Seniors. Scholar-

ships of $500 are for Seniors that are ac-

tive in our church. The applications are

due by May 15th.

We are having a wedding shower for Pastor Josh and his beautiful bride-to-be, Heather, on March 30th at 3:00pm. We will be having party games and refreshments, which will be provided by UMW. All are invited, both men and women! Pastor Josh and Heather are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

GRIEF TALKS

For those going through the shadows, pain, tears and fear of the grief season. Grief talks meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Fire-side Room.

IT’S BAAAACK, AND WE NEED STUFF

U.M.C YARD SALE IS COMING

April 26th, 8 p.m. to 2 p.m.

We are in need of your items that are taking up space in your closets, kitchen , basement or garage.

Don’t throw it out. Donate it to the church yard sale. We can usually sell anything that is clean, work-

able and has all the parts to it. THE ONLY ITEMS WE CAN’T TAKE ARE COMPUTERS, HARD

DRIVES, 8 TRACK TAPES & PLAYERS, AND APPLIANCES THAT NEED WORK.

Suggested items are: Linens, Blankets, clothes, furniture, kitchen items, CD’s, fishing gear, garden &

yard stuff, tools, deco items, bikes, radios, old cupboards, doors, pictures, books, arts & crafts, holiday

items & leftover remodeling items. We would like all items prior to Friday for pricing. Thank you.

We also will have a separate room for collectibles and antiques. If you donate an antique item for us to

sell and you wish it back if it doesn’t sell, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL MAKE

SURE IT’S KEPT FOR YOU TO PICK UP.

If you wish for us to come and pick up items, please call 754-4502 and we will schedule a time to come

and get it. There is a SIGN UP SHEET on the kiosk for those of you wanting to help out, AND WE

NEED LOTS OF HELP. Table set up is Tuesday night (call Tom Pheasant) and pricing, sorting & more

set up is Weds thru Friday.

Note: There will be no UM Women’s Meeting or Fun & Fellowship

this month.

We have a new website!! We are so excited to roll out our new website as it will offer many great features for our church members. Keep in mind that it is still under construction and we are working on future features, such as an online store, online donations, and mem-ber forums (message boards). It has a lot of great information, such as announce-ments, weather, Methodist news, sched-ules, prayer requests, Bible passage search, quote of the day, as well as links to other pages. It’s very user-friendly and we hope you enjoy it. One of the great fea-tures is we will have our “Update” monthly newsletters available online...in color! If you would like to save some trees, as well as save our church $$ on postage, ink, and paper, you can unsubscribe to the paper newsletters via regular mail, and sub-scribe to get it emailed to you, or you can view it at your convenience online. If you would like to unclutter your mailbox, just email me (Sheryl) at my new email ad-dress listed below. With the new website we received new emails addresses as well.
