The people in this photograph are Adolf Hitler, a little boy, and women in the background.


This was taken out in the public, perhaps a political rally of some sort. It was also taken during Hitler’s reign in Germany. Evidence of this would be how Hitler is portrayed. The little boy is shaking Hitler’s hand and the women in the background are smiling, as if he were shaking hands with a celebrity.


The message that the photographer is trying to convey is the humanization of Adolf Hitler. He’s shaking hands with a little boy and smiling, therefore he must be a good guy. At the same time, contemporary viewers of this photograph could see it differently. It could also be showing the manipulation or ignorance of the German people. They don’t realize that this celebrity or politician is actually a monster.


This photograph is important to history because it shows a different side of Hitler that we are used to seeing. It shows the “human” side of him. Also, it could show the manipulation of Hitler or the ignorance of the German people.


This photo raises many questions. A lot of them I discussed in the previous question. The biggest question that this photo raises is how the German people perceived Hitler. Did they think he was a good guy?

The people in the photograph are white police officers with batons and dogs and almost all of the other people are black civilians.


I believe this photo was taken during the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Evidence of this would be the is an African American man in the middle of the picture being attacked by the police dogs and the police officer in front of the large group of African Americans in the background. This suggests that the group of people in the background are protesters and the police officer is attempting to stop them.


The message the photographer is trying to convey is the struggling voice of the minority during the civil rights movement.


This photograph is important because it shows what people of color had to go through during the civil rights movement.


This photo raises a few questions of how we treat one another and especially how we treat one another during times of struggle, such as the civil rights movement.


Man is attacked by police dogs during protest

The man in this picture was hanged from the Statue of Liberty, a metaphor obviously because that would have to be a really small Statue of Liberty or a really tall man.


The “photographer” of this picture is trying to convey the struggle of immigrants who come to America since the Statue of Liberty is a sign of immigration.


This picture is important to history because it shows the struggle of immigrants who try to come to America and live but do it unsuccessfully.


This picture raises questions on how we deal with immigration and the lack of opportunity for immigrants. America is a nation of immigrants but now, when new immigrants come, they lack opportunity or are oppressed.
