What the Aero World Needs
……He said that one Boeing goal is to make the complex military software systems on
such airplanes as easy to upgrade as an app on an iPhone.
He cited a Boeing project called Phantom Fusion, which provides a flexible,
upgradeable software architecture..
..transformed,” through digitization, data analytics and real-time access to information,
Chadwick said Boeing wants to partner with leading high-tech companies in this region
to stay abreast of that wave.

Deterministic Ethernet Is Reality:
Automotive & Aerospace
Within the development of our highly integrated zFAS
platform ECU for piloted driving, Deterministic Ethernet
enables the building of a safety-critical system by
connecting its functional system subcomponents.
Furthermore, high-speed Ethernet networks will allow
us to design a future-proof system architecture by
updating its embedded database over-the-air.
Mathias Halliger, Chief Architect at Audi

” We look forward to realizing the potential of
TTEthernet technology development, which
provides a high bandwidth avionics databus
capability supporting future technology insertion.

Deterministic Ethernet Is Reality:
Industrial and IoT
Wind turbines need to continue to be even more
economical. Therefore reliability and up-time have to
be improved, maintenance costs have to be reduced
and performance as well as the optimization of the
turbine control have to be increased. Deterministic
Ethernet gives us more leverage to do that.
Jorge Magalhaes, Senior Vice President of
Engineering & Innovation at Vestas Wind Systems
“ ”
Deterministic Ethernet is another step in the
evolution of Ethernet. The IoT requires more
real-time traffic, bigger scale as well as new
security and business paradigms. Deterministic
Ethernet helps us address these topics.
