What’s a Pin?Pins are like bookmarks on the internet. Whenever you find something on the web that you want to keep, add it to Pinterest. Your new Pin will be there whenever you need it, and will always link back to the site it came from.

A board is a set of pins. You can create a board for any topic, such as Cool Posters, Recipes for Dinner, or Wish list. You can add as many pins to a board as you want.

What's a secret board?

• A secret board is only visible to you and to anyone you invite to it.

• Your secret boards are at the bottom of your profile. Just scroll down to see them

• You can create up to six secret boards• There's no limit on the number of secret boards you

can participate on – if you accept an invite to a secret board, it won't count against your six board limit

NOTE: You can’t change a board back to secret after you’ve made it public – so be careful!

Become an expert on a subject on Pinterest

People tend to follow boards that are full than boards that are sparsely populated.

Think about it, if you are interested in something are you going to follow a board with 5 pins on it or one with 100’s of pins on it??

You are most likely going to follow the one with 100’s of pins so there is more for you to look at.
