Founded in the Year 2000, by Shri. V. K. Sundaram .

In the same year Sudharsan Engineering College, was formed which became the flagship institution of the Group .

The Group manages 6 Educational Institutes , with 32 courses and 2 Schools which run classes from KG to XII.

We are the Research Centre for subjects in English, Commerce, Computer Science and Mathematics.

An overall 44.38 acre eco-friendly campus with over 7.27 lakh sq.ft. built-up space across SGI.

Enrolment of more than 3,000 students with a strong Alumni base of students spread across all the continents.

Sudharsan Engineering College, Sathiyamangalam, Pudukottai conducted Job drives on the 16th and 17th February, 2017 and about eight companies participated in the Job Drive viz., Super Auto Forge, Zen Corp Techno Solutions, Doxifyy Technologies, Universal Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd., Zenith Group, Keyar Enterprises, TVS Training & Services, IDBI Federal Insurance Co.-. Sudharsan is proud to announce that 127 final year students in all from ECE, Mech, Civil, CSE and EEE departments got placed.

In a function arranged by the college, The Chairman Shri Vijay K Sundaram, CEO Shri Rajeev Chand, Principal Dr. K. Ganesan, Director Dr. S. Palani and the Vice Principal Dr. S. Karthikeyan awarded the Job Offer Letters to the selected students.

1. By Road/BusSudharsan Engineering College is situated about 40 kms from Trichy and about 14 kms before Pudukottai on the Trichy-Pudukottai NH 336. Direct buses are available from Chennai / Trichy to Pudukottai.The road distance from Chennai to the college is 360 kms.The road distance from Trichy to the college is 40 kms.

2. By TrainThere are direct trains from Chennai to Pudukootai. The minimum time a train takes to reach Pudukottai from Chennai is 6h 15m. The distance between Chennai and Pudukottai by train is about 388 kms. However, there are more number of trains from Chennai to Trichy. One can take the train from Chennai to Trichy and from there take a bus to the college which is en route to Pudukottai.

3. By AirThe nearest airport to Pudukottai is the Trichy airport. The fastest way to reach Sudharsan Engineering College from Chennai is to take a flight to Trichy and a taxi from the airport to the College, which is at a distance of about 34 kms.
