Heritage House Welcome Center • 1035 Huey P. Long Ave. Gretna, LA 70053

A Gretna original historic home restored in 2016 and relocated to its current location as the official City of Gretna Welcome Center. Can be rented for groups of 25 or less for meetings or private receptions including small wedding ceremonies.

Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts• Huey P. Long Ave. and 4th Street Gretna, LA 70053

Constructed in 1936 and once housing the Gretna Post Office, now sits as a fully renovated black-box theater. The Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts is available for rent as a special event venue and theater for live performances.

All rentals include use of the warming kitchen, tables and chairs. All events require a $250 damage deposit to be paid separately and all fee balances must be paid in full at least 7 business days prior to the rental date.

Built in 2013, the Multipurpose Center can host a multitude of events from competitive sports to graduations, wedding receptions and baby showers. With groups as small as 20 to as large as 1,000, we have exactly what you need.

Meeting RoomsMeeting room rentals come with tables and chairs, a $200 booking deposit is required and non-refundable. The $150 Damage/Cleanup Deposit is refundable if all requirements are met.

Police SecurityIf required, the cost is calculated in a flat rate of $208 for 2 officers for up to 4 hours. Each additional hour is $54/hr.

Rental Fees Shelters (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) $50 Gazebo $75 Whole Park (All Shelters and Gazebo) $350$50 Cleanup/Damage Deposit is required for all outdoors rentals. If boiled seafood is brought in, an additional $50 deposit is required. All Cleanup/Damage Deposits are refundable if proper cleanup procedures are followed.

Park Rules • There is NO electricity provided and generators are not allowed. • You MAY grill on a charcoal grill, but NO propane is allowed (this includes boiling pots). If boiled seafood is brought in the additional $50 Cleanup Deposit is only refunded when all seafood trash is removed from the park and NOT left in garbage cans. • No Alcohol in the park • No DJ (small battery operated radios or blue-tooth speakers are allowed)
