Fruit size of table grapes
For table grapes, fruit size is of big importance
Especially in seedless varieties, fruit size is often insufficient
Stenopermocarpy seed abortion seedless grapes
Early seed abortion less sink activity fruit size
Use of Platina on table grapes
Dose: 2 x 1,5 l/ha standard orchard
Application: ± 1 and 2 weeks after full bloom
Combine with a thinning treatment with GA3 (Gibb 3) during bloom

Control Platina
Platina gives bigger fruits and a higher fruit weight. This made the bunch weight increase from 200 grams to 422 grams!
Platina Greece
Platina leads to a stronger development of the vessels towards the grapes thicker fruit stalk better water and nutrition uptake less detachment of grapes during handling and storage

Despite the higher number of bunches per plant, the grapes have a higher fruit weight after Platina treatment

In warm climates coloring of fruits often is a problem. The higher a-value
and the lower b-value indicate a better coloring of the grapes after Platina
treatment, which led to an earlier harvest

Significantly higher fruit weight after treatment with Platina, so higher bunch weight and higher yield

After treatment with Platina the grapes are slightly thicker and significantly longer fruit shape is nicer and commercially more interesting

Clearly thicker fruit stalks, because of which the grapes have more growth potential and show less detachment from the bunch after harvest
