*Hydraulic UnitBoth our Single Self-Closing Gate and our Pedestrian/Vehicle Gate with self-closing leaf has a built-in dual-action hydraulic unit, with a self-closing, ‘progressive’ mechanism which makes the self-closing leaf virtually impossible to slam shut and prevents it from bouncing back when it is pushed too hard. It has an anti-trap mechanism and cannot swing beyond its stop point. The gate is adjustable and can be set to conform with RoSPA’s recommendation to close within 5 to 7 seconds.

SignagePlayscape SignsOur vandal-resistant signs are made from 5mm thick polycarbonate mounted on a 2mm gauge aluminium back-plate. They can be supplied with wall, fence or post mounting fixings. Aluminium painted posts are also available separately to your chosen height. Wicksteed Playscape Signs can carry your own wording including corporate crests, logos and safety symbols. The sizes quoted are standard but signs can be made to individual specifications.
