From my very first knowledge of this congregation, now over twenty-one years ago, I have been

positively impressed by the great, generous hearts and open, gracious hands of those who are the

North “A” Church of Christ. The sisters and brothers of this church take seriously the notion that all

that exists belongs to God, that all that we each as individuals possess is from God, and that God

expects us to rightly manage and use those things, whether great or small in amount, that He places

in our care. Each Lord’s Day collection reminds me of your generous, giving grace. Each third

Sunday Operation Pick-up collection reminds me of your generous, giving grace. Each collection to

meet special needs associated with natural disasters or special opportunities for the gospel such as

the solar players distributed in Africa reminds me of your generous, giving grace. And this past Lord’s

Day the collection for the families of the two ministry students from the downtown Mexico City

congregation in which we exceeded the $12,000.00 goal reminds me of your generous, giving grace.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for

sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to

be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the minis-

try of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many

thanksgivings to God. 2 Corinthians 9:10-12 ESV
