Plumber’s Partnership
Program
Introduction
Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about our Plumber’s Partnership Program. We work with plumbers throughout Arizona to:
• Assist their clients in getting their insurance claims paid.
• Help to get any covered plumbing services paid by the insurance company.
• Offer a new stream of income for your business.
This chart from “Claims Journal” Magazine shows that
68% of insurance claims are underpaid – by an average
of $32,000!!
That’s Crazy! How can that happen??
Since most homeowners aren’t contractors, they don’t
understand what it will take to restore their home. They trust
their insurance company to be a “good neighbor” – however,
often they’re not.
And even worse than being underpaid – many legitimate claims
are denied altogether.
So, where does that leave the average
homeowner?
Homeowners have to come out-of-pocket for
those costs – if they can.
Or worse – they settle for terrible repairs performed by
the insurance company’s preferred vendor contractor.
Notice the lower cabinets were replaced, but they didn’t replace the uppers to match.
If the insurance company doesn’t pay
– where does that leave you?
Often plumbers are left with a stack of unpaid invoices for jobs that
should have been paid by the insurance company. The homeowner
simply doesn’t have the money to pay.
Your clients need someone fighting on
their side.
They need to hire us.
What is a “Public Adjuster?”
• A licensed insurance adjuster who only works for
policyholders – not for the insurance company.
• We work on a contingency basis, so there are no up-front
costs to hire us. We get paid a small percentage of the claim
when it settles.
• We represent the client through all phases of the insurance
claim including: meeting with the adjuster, writing the
estimate, and negotiating and settling the claim.
Who are we?
Our Adjusters
Tavisha Grant Lead Public Adjuster & Owner
Our Lead Public Adjuster, Tavisha Grant, came to the public adjusting field
after owning her own independent insurance agency in Phoenix. She served
both commercial and personal lines clients.
She is very familiar with the intricacies of insurance policies and the way
insurance companies handle claims. Her background also includes working for
an insurance defense law firm in Los Angeles which was retained by one of
the “Big 3″ nationwide insurance carriers. While there, she saw firsthand the
way insurance companies often overpower an unrepresented insured.
Juan Ordoñez Public Adjuster
Juan Ordoñez began his public adjusting career after setting himself apart as
an HVAC and roofing contractor. Juan came to the firm with years of
experience working with insurance claims and is very familiar with the various
processes required to settle a claim properly.
Juan serves clients with all types of property damage claims, particularly
clients within the Spanish-speaking community.
Our License
We’re licensed with the State of Arizona as Let’s Go Enterprises, LLC
operating under the dba of Property Claim Adjusters.
What is the advantage of
hiring a public adjusting
firm?
Florida’s Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability
(the state with the most licensed public adjusters) compiled claim information
about settlement payouts over the course of one year.
They determined that claims represented by public adjusters were settled for
significantly more than claims settled by homeowners on their own.
But, what about our firm?
How do we compare?
• A typical water loss client calls us and tells us that their
insurance company has offered them between $10,000 and
$20,000 to settle their claim.
• We typically settle these types of claims for between $30,000
and $60,000.
The following are a few samples of
claims we’ve handled.

This was a denial from Safeco. We fought it and won
$9,552.00 for the homeowner.
Why such a big difference?
• The insurance companies expect that contractors are so hungry for work that they will pay out of their own pockets for many things the carriers leave out of their estimates. We don’t accept that. If it needs to be replaced, it needs to be paid for by the insurance company – not the contractor or homeowner.
• The insurance companies try to minimize the damage and often want homeowners to re-use damaged items or repair things that need to be replaced. We don’t accept that.
• Sometimes the insurance company’s adjuster will deny things for no reason at all. In some ways, their hands are tied because of company policy. As much as they might want to pay for something, they can’t. We don’t accept that, either.
Now that you understand what we do …
how can we partner in a way that’s good for
both of us?
We pay plumbers a 20% referral fee for
every claim they send us.
• Example:
We settle a claim for $40,000.
Our commission is 12% or $4,800.
We would pay you a $960 referral fee.
It’s just that simple.
Annual Revenue Potential
It’s realistic to consider that you could refer 2 substantial water claims per month to us. That would be 24 referrals annually.
$960 x 24 = a $23,040.00 increase in revenue for your business without incurring any additional costs and with only a very small investment in time. You simply pick up the phone and call us with the lead and you’re done. We’ll handle it from there and send you a check when it settles.
This creates a win-win for both you
and your clients.
• Homeowners: They are happy because they
have someone fighting for them to make sure
they receive all the money they’re entitled to.
• You: Our plumber partners are happy
because they: – Create a new revenue stream without adding any
additional costs, and
– Have satisfied clients who appreciate the referral.
