Understanding WorldTariff® From FedEx Trade Networks

One of the key elements in making informed business decisions, for you and your customers, is understanding the tax and customs requirements when importing and exporting products and services worldwide. WorldTariff continuously collects data from the world’s customs authorities, simplifies the information and translates it into English. WorldTariff publishes the most-favored-nation duty rates, preferential rates, Value Added Tax (VAT), excise, miscellaneous border taxes, tariff classifications for duty purposes and complete Harmonized System descriptions. The information is immediately available for countries representing more than 95% of the world’s imports by value. Learn more. See the WorldTariff demo.

Access WorldTariff Through Plusto. Since Plusto provides a direct link to WorldTariff on all listing pages, you can quickly gain access to duty and tax information in real time. This information helps subject matter experts, multinational corporations, industry associations and trade promotional organizations plan, bid and audit more effectively.

Understanding FedEx Rate Finder at fedex.com

Most sellers on Plusto allow a potential buyer to request a sample before bidding on or buying the item. Sellers often list items a few weeks before the scheduled auction or sale to give potential buyers a chance to experience the quality of the product. To help ensure that samples arrive in time and in good condition, Plusto selected FedEx Express® as our preferred carrier for those shipments. Why? Because we have a passion for speed and efficiency and we offer the reliable delivery Plusto sellers and buyers expect. FedEx Rate Finder, which can be found at fedex.com and on each Item Listing page on Plusto, allows you to get instant rate quotes and to schedule and track shipment status using a variety of FedEx® services based on the seller’s country of origin and buyer’s destination. With FedEx Express, you can count on delivery to over 220 countries and territories, typically within 1 to 3 days. Learn more. Get Rates and Transit Times.

Access FedEx Rate Finder Through Plusto. For your convenience, the listing details provided are pre-populated in FedEx Rate Finder, so potential buyers automatically see the options and associated costs for any sample or shipment weighing less than 150 lbs. And with delivery of samples typically in 3 days or less, buyers can make informed decisions about purchasing goods internationally.

Ordering Samples On Plusto

By scrolling over the Sample Availability tab on all item pages, buyers will know — at a glance — if a sample is available for the listing. When buyers contact sellers using the Request a Sample link, they can make arrangements for payment and delivery with the seller using the chosen FedEx® service. If you are a seller with a FedEx account, you can arrange for delivery and request reimbursement directly. If you are a buyer, you can benefit from reduced shipping costs if the seller has a negotiated volume shipping contract with FedEx.
