- 3. COMMUNICATION CHANNELS QUESTION (EASY) Q.1. John is project manager project is interacting with six stakeholders. Three new stakeholders join the project. How many new channels have been added? a. 15 channels b. 21 channels c. 24 channels d. 36 channels Answer: B - 21 channels
- 4. HOW THE ANSWER IS B - 21 CHANNELS The number of communication channels=n(n-1)/2 where n= number of stakeholders In this question the project manager is interacting with six other stakeholders. Therefore there are seven stakeholders. The number of communication channels = 7(6)/2= 42/2= 21 channels. Three new stakeholders join. Therefore there are now 10 stakeholders. The number of communication channels = 10(9)/2= 90/2= 45 channels. So for 21 channels for seven people and now have 45 channels for 10 people. Therefore (45-21) =24 new channels have been added. Hope this clear your concept.

For this sort question how to find Stakeholders count from Communication Channels Find multiplication number to 90 (45*2) like 15*6 =90 18*5=90 10*9=90 But from above list find that both the multiplication number should next to each other So 10*9 is right option , then for 45 Channels there are 10 is Stakeholder Now existing 7 stakeholder including Manager + 10 new stakeholders = 17 Stakeholders
- 7. HOW THE ANSWER IS C - 17 STAKEHOLDERS Method 2. Check the each answer and match with channels(45) and find the solution Eg. Total stakeholder are 7 eg. For 15 stakeholders = 15-7= 8 , 8*7/2= 28 eg. For 21 stakeholders = 21-7= 14, 14*13/2= 91 eg. For 17 stakeholders = 17-7= 10, 10*9/2= 45 eg. For 36 stakeholders = 36-7= 29, 36*35/2=630 So for 17 stakeholders Channels are 45 , Then your answer is C, Total 17 stakeholders I have clear the concept both the ways.
