Edward Shehab is an accomplished
expert with over twenty year’s
experience in the field of project and
programme management, business
process analysis and design, as well as operational
and organisational excellence. He has worked in the
USA and the Middle East, providing consulting and
training for many global and regional organisations
in different sec tors including government, town
planning, engineering, consumer products, information
technology, systems integration and new product
development.
Since 2008, he has been based in Dubai, providing
consulting and training services to projec t professionals
in the Middle East and Gulf region, covering such
topics as project management, risk management and
programme management.
Prior to coming to the UAE, Edward held several high
ranking leadership positions in the USA with many of
the large organisations such as GE, Gillette (P&G),
Philips Electronics, Analog Devices, Teradyne, Fidelity
Investments and Bank of America, to name a few.
He served in varying management roles ranging from
operations to projects to leading high performance
PMOs.
He is an expert at assessing and designing custom
methodologies for portfolio, project, and programmes,
creating and setting up new and strategica lly aligned
PMOs, as well as building ef ficiency through the use
of Six Sigma, business process and organisational
modelling, and requirements management.

Course Overview This PMP® Exam certification training course will prepare you
for the certification exam by reviewing the latest Edition
of the (PMBOK ® Gu ide ) in full detail, including the process
groups, knowledge areas, and each and every of the PM
processes. The course will also cover other projec t, business
and management topics that regularly appear on the exam.
The course will clarify the key concepts and techniques that
every project management professional should know in
order to manage projects successfully.
All delegates will be supplied with customised course
materials and a course workbook that will help in preparing
for the exam. This workbook includes exercises and lots of
sample questions that will build your confidence and raise
your chances of passing the PMP® Exam on your first attempt.
Course Objectives This course will:
• Prepare you to sit for the PMP® Exam and have a higher
chance of passing it on the first attempt
• Teach you about project management in detail so you
can apply it in your own work• Provide an opportunity for you to understand the scope
of a projec t manager’s duties – this is particularly useful
for senior managers
Course Format The course is presented by PowerPoint presentations which
are explained by the course director, while keeping you
engaged via real-life examples and topic discussions. Flip
boards and charts will be used to demonstrate key points.
Delegates will also be given quizzes at the end of each
knowledge area to solidify their knowledge, as well as
additional practice questions to take home to help them
prepare for the exam.
Course Timings Registration will be at 07.30 on the first day of the c ourse. Course sessions will start promptly at 08.00 and
end at 14:30. There will be breaks for refreshments at approximately 10:30 and 12:30 and lunch will be served at the end
of each day’s session
This course is suitable for all project management
professionals who wish to prepare for the Project
Management Professional (PMP)® certification exam,

A confirmation letter and invoice will be sent upon receipt of yourregistration. Please note that full payment must be received prior
to the event. Only those delegates whose fees have been paid

cheques or bankers draft in Dirhams or US$. Please note that all
US$ cheques and drafts should be drawn on a New York bank
and an extra amount of US$ 6 per payment should be added
to cover bank clearing charges. In any event payment must be
received not later than 48 hours before the Event. Entry to the

Cancellation
If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate will be
welcome in your place. Registrations canc elled more than 7 daysbefore the Event are subject to a $200 administration cha rge.
Registration fees for registrations cancelled 7 days or less before
the Event must be paid in full. Substitutions are welcome at a ny
time.
