Training in the implementation of the OCAN, suicide intervention, and CISM is an asset. Strong typing, word processing and email skills, a satisfactory Criminal Records Check, a valid driver’s license, and access to a vehicle are necessary.

Addictions Outreach Counsellor - Work with persons with addictions issues and concurrent disorders. Oftentimes,

these persons are not engaged with counselling services, and this position would involve connecting with vulnerable populations, building rapport, and providing crisis intervention, support with day to day needs, advocacy, counselling, and therapy as indicated. Work will be conducted at the local hospital, medical clinic, high school, women’s shelter, and in our counselling agency.

The Addictions Outreach Counsellor must:- Have direct experience counselling vulnerable persons (youth, homeless, women,

Indigenous) with addictions issues and mental health conditions;- Be skilled in conducting clinical biopsychosocial assessments with use of

Housekeeping : Sweep, mop and wash floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; distribute clean towels and toiletries; Stock linen closet; Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances; Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; Handle and report lost and found items; Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; Pick up debris and empty trash containers; Wash windows, walls and ceilings; Clean changing rooms and showers.

Waitress/Kitchen: Set dining room tables per schematics, attending to guests in the dining room. Prepare tables for staff meals. Help cook periodically if interested. Dishes and setting out foods.
