The group has advised many organisations including the Association of Chief Police Officers ACPO on Police Cycle Standards, the armed forces and government. These standards are also being used in the NHS for ambulance services, the Fire & Rescue services, the volunteer services and in everyday city cycling for a new generation of workforce cyclists.

PSC has achieved their goal of ‘raising the standard’ in the UK and has now established an advisory body called the National Cycle Response Unit Group (NCRUG).

Thousands of 'public safety cyclists' are now established in the UK and the movement is still growing worldwide. The success and popularity of bicycle patrol remains positive in the communities that they serve and in today's environmental and financial climate. The PSCA standardised practice also encourages setting good cycling standards for cyclists and organisations that want to get professional about cycling.
