Evaluation
Solutions will be evaluated by Siemens expert considering following criterias:
Level of innovation
1=solution is already available on the market
5= solution is completely new
Match with requirement

5= solution is completely in line with defined requirements
Level of completeness
1= solution has to be strongly modified to be implemented
5= solution could be launched on the market with limited effort
Clarity and structure of the documentation provided
Evaluation and awarding ceremony
• Awarding ceremony will be at Siemens office in Milan. All the participants will have the opportunity to present their solution/s (5 minutes each) to Smart
Grid Division Management and Siemens HR
• The three best solutions will be awarded with:
I-pad (Third generation, 32 GB)
Opportunity to present the solution in details to the Head of Smart Grid

Opportunity to present the solution in details to the Head of Smart Grid Division and to meet HR Director for an interview
Opportunity collaborate with Siemens project team for the project development and the solution implementation (prototype phase).
Moreover Siemens will be available to support the student for final thesis
• The winner will choose the prize between the 3 options, than the second will do
his/her choice while the student classified at third place will receive the
remaining prize
• At the end of the awarding ceremony it will be possible to spend couple of hour in Siemens laboratory where Smart Grid solution are developed
