This degree allows you to combine yourinterests in history and politics, dividing yourtime equally between the two.
Choose from a wide range of topics including British,European, American and world history, and internationalpolitics and political thought.
Concentrate on different areas of the world from both anhistorical and a political perspective, or develop your interestin particular approaches to the study of history or politics.
Explore and evaluate different forms of historical evidenceand benefit from the University's historic collections and theacclaimed Great North Museum on-campus.
Develop skills in critical analysis, communication andresearch through an independent research project on atopic of particular interest to you.
