Puerto armuelles

Puerto Armuelles is a town of Panama, near the border with Costa Rica.

Header Baru district, also known as the city of the sands, has a population of

22,500 inhabitants. It is the main center of the western area of Chiriqui.

Also, there are banana plantations, the Petroterminal of Panama, palm oil industry.

Blue Puddle: In Charco Azul, Puerto Armuelles, there are installed 10 cages for

tuna farming. Until September 2006, exports of yellowfin tuna reached 55 million

Aguadulce Port

The port was built in 1927 by the company West Indies Oil Company, during the

administration of President Rodolfo Chiari. Aguadulce port is located about 200

kilometers west of the capital city, along the Pacific Ocean. Before the construction

of the American Way, National Highway deviated from the southwest town of

Aguadulce and passed through this port, which was a site of interest for travelers.

Coquira Port

In Chepo, along the Bayano River, downstream of the dam, Coquira is the largest

port in eastern Panama, about 24 miles from Tocumen airport. Strategic site for the

transport of passengers and goods between the towns along the Bayano, Chiman

and other parts of Panama this, the Pearl Islands, Darien and Chepillo Island.Important commercial fish and shellfish to market in Panama City and abroad, are

Vacamonte Port

The international fishing port Resume, located about 20 kilometers from the capital

city, is a place in constant turmoil.

Fishermen, boat captains, supervisors and support staff work tirelessly removing

the shrimp refrigerated tubs placed on fishing vessels, washing with fresh water,

passing the boat to the dock in small baskets orange and weighing them, ever
