SUMMER2015Beauty Beyond Measure i s a project which ce lebrates the power of the gr id through the creat ion of or ig ina l typographic layouts by means of layers and transparency ; and layouts have been handledin the same manner as typeset ters f rom the golden era of le t terpress when movable type was composed by hand. Addi t iona l ly , e lements of “perspect ive” have been appl ied to the layouts wi th the a im of t ransforming 2—D f la t ar twork into three—dimensions .

In the course of researching th is project , the area of Graphic Des ign has been explored deeply ; and i t i s my intent ion to demonstrate through creat ive typography and exper iments wi th formal layout , that us ing a gr id i s a lways the best pol icy .
