Proposal to a public pavilion in Parque do Povo– Presidente Prudente, where people could use the space with varied purposes, by moving the rolling “ doors” and creating atmospheres in different scales and configurations.The irregular shape of the cover express the aim of the project: being a place without rigid limits and functions.

Project to the Architecture and Urbanism Nucleus, inside UNESP Campus. Following

the features of Fondation Cartier, we created a building totally permeable by

using glass walls, with an audacious design. The strategic location, among

dense vegetation, ends up protecting the building from direct insolation.

House for two architecture students inside UNESP Campus, at the lake. We aimed to create a flexible house on “ rails” so that each cube could be moved and reorganized according their preference, making it possible to have varied compositions. The materials are light to enhance sliding function, and the house basis is elevated from the soil to protect from humidity. All the furniture inside the house is also movable.

Residence answering the given family program: father (agronomic engineer), mother (college professor), two children (a boy and a girl), and another boy that comes occasionally. The residence would be built in a corner site with slight declivity, in a residential neighborhood in Presidente Prudente city.

Proposal to a public library located in the city outskirts, with the aim of improving Monte Carlo neighborhood infrastructure. The chosen location, a terrain with dimensions 21m x 120m, would mean a huge challenge. The solution we adopted was to create three blocks with alternate positions along the site. Each of them has a different function (see sectors plan), graduating from the most “ public” one at the front (theatre and exhibitions) to the most “ private” at the back (administration). The central main building contains the library and it is the only one with two floors, standing out visually. The blocks are connected by a wide amoeboid shaped marquise, that functions as a sidewalk and a roof simultaneously.

Connected with the Library project, an urban planning project to Monte Carlo Neighborhood was developed. After visiting the neighborhood, talking to its population, and studying its history, we could identify the most important qualities and defects. The aim of the intervention was to linkMonte Carlo to the adjacent neighborhoods by creating a catwalk above the highway located at its limit. The borders of the highway (that are at the same level of the catwalk) turned in a park, with sidewalk and a bike lane. Elevated pedestrian crossings were put in the points where people used to cross regularly, making the cars stop and respect the pedestrian. The public spaces of the neighborhood were abandoned until then, so we gave it new uses, according to the population requirements: a local market and a qualified recreation area were created, and more trees planted to make it comfortable to stay in.
