9000 Series Security Systems

9000 series systems provide the highest level of protection for sumptuous houses, banks, government buildings, and any place where very high security is needed. These systems are designed to be user-friendly and the modular concept of these systems provide installers with labour-saving features that make expanding, installing and servicing these systems quick and convenient.

Expand your system by adding zone expansion modules anywhere and in any combination on the BUS. Modules can be connected to the BUS at the most convenient location. Once installed, all modules can be programmed remotely via a keypad or the remote upload/download programming software.

9000 series is designed together with advanced functions keypad. With one button pressed on keypad, it can be programmed to contact the appropriate personnel in event of an emergency. Additional five pre-programmed keys let you to perform the most common functions with one touch.

Each keypad has one zone input and can connect one detector or one door contact that makes the panel increasing one zone input. The second digit within ( ) is the total number of keypad zone. When double zone feature is enable, two detectors can be connected per each input terminal. Therefore doubling zone capacity of the panel. This feature is software-oriented and is no need for extra modules. The panels will recognize all the installed devices. The extra zones function exactly like any other zone and is displaying zone status on the keypad and sending separate alarm codes for each zone.

PS-LC8 Local Connector The PS-LC8 can store up to four 9000 SERIES alarm control panel configurations within its own non-volatile memory. These data can be read by the RPS-9 remote programming software without a panel connected. The data can also be saved into any existing 9000 Series panels without the need of PC. So the data stored on the PS-LC8 can be transferred to any panel of the same type or read by the RPS-9 software for reviewing, editing and archiving purposes.

PS-EM16-192 8/16 Zone Expander Module For PS-9192 Control Panel The EM16-192 is a microprocessor-controlled 16-zone expander for PS-9192 control panel. Up to 23 EM16-192 expanders can be added to the control panel with a maximum zone number of 192 zones. Each expander has a tamper switch and power isolator making it ideal for use in a remote location. 6-POSITION DIP SWITCH SETTINGS The first thing that must be decided is the starting zone of this particular zone expander. The starting zone must be on a boundary of 8 zones. The 16 zones for this module will move out from this starting position. To set the starting zone, set the dip switch according to the table below:

PS-EM16-48 8/16 Zone Expander Module For PS-9048 Control Panel The EM16-48 is a microprocessor-controlled 16-zone expander for PS-9048 control panel. Up to five EM16-48 expanders can be added to the control panel with a maximum zone number of 48 zones. Each expander has an tamper switch and power isolator making it ideal for use in a remote location. 4-POSITION DIP SWITCH SETTINGS The first thing that must be decided is the starting zone of this particular zone expander. The starting zone must be on a boundary of eight (8) zones. The sixteen (16) zones for this module will move out from this starting position. There are stick-on zone labels to indicate the zone numbers that you select. To set the starting zone, set the dip switch according to the table below:

PS-OM8-1 Output Expander & Printer Interface PS-OM8-2 Output Expander Interface The OM8 is an auxiliary module used to expand the capabilities of the 9000 series control panels. While each unit has some unique features described in this section and also in the terminal descriptions, the basic installation and programming instructions are applicable to both modules.

OM8-1 Features: ■ Microprocessor controlled 8-output module ■ Equipped with 8 low current trigger outputs (see terminal drawing) ■ Up to 8 modules can be added for a total output count of 64 ■ Each output can be programmed to follow up to 8 different schedules to either activate the output during the

“on” time, or used in conjunction with another programming option to create time zones ■ Has an optional tamper switch and auxiliary power terminal (refer to terminal descriptions) making it ideal

for use in a remote location ■ Has a built-in parallel interface for local printouts of all communicator activity

PS-483 Remote Power Supply and Bus Extension Module

The PS-483 is a microprocessor controlled remote power supply module for the PS-9048 / PS-9192 control panel. This power supply module has 3 programmable outputs and one dedicated bell output. A maximum of 8 power supply modules can be added to the control panel for a total output count of 32, of which 24 are programmable and 8 are dedicated bell outputs. PS-3363 Directional Digital Motion Detector In the past when using curtain detectors, occupants have to lose freedom of movement within the premises, because they have to avoid triggering an alarm when entering the protected area. POSONIC PS-3363 directional motion detector provides an innovative solution to this problem. This technology utilizes a sophisticated signal processing algorithm to recognize the direction from which the protected area had been entered. If an intruder breaks into the perimeter from outside, an alarm will be generated immediately. However, if the occupants wander into the detector’s coverage area occasionally, a delay timer will be initiated during which an alarm will not occur. As a result, 3363 can distinguish between an occupant and an intruder. This capability is ideal for perimeter protection while people are active within the house. The delay timer can be adjusted from 5 seconds to 15 minutes by 4 setting levels for different protection level and permitting occupants who go out to return inside within a predetermined time period without triggering an alarm. PS-372 Digital Glassbreak Detector

The PS-372 is an electronic device using advanced digital technology. It employs an 8 bit microprocessor to perform constant analysis of the glass environment it is protecting. The PS-372 hears the unique multi frequency acoustic shock wave of glass-breaking; then it analyses the signal digitally by a microprocessor and decides whether it is the sounds of an actual glass break event or not. The micro algorithm identifies multiple variations of the glass break signal data in both unique time and frequency domains.
