Dana's students in Galati / Romania have made 'Martisoare' for their friends and peers abroad of Todd's Global Postcard
Swap and send them out all over the world.
'Martisoare' (literally translated: little March) are small red white ribbons that are given to friends, in order to greet the March / spring. A beautiful tradition in Romania and some
neighboring countries at the beginning of March.

(Nathan, Isabelle, and Jayden) with gift trinkets traditionally worn at this time of year
that were sent to them by Cerassela. They were extremely excited!!! If you look to the left of the picture (on my bulletin board) you
will see some cards that we received from Montse and her students telling us all about their Carnival
and to the right - cards from Shiran in which they were enthralled by the German writing. It was a great week for the students here. As you can see, my board is filling up and is
almost ready for a needed expansion. Other teachers are now coming to my room and are completely enthralled by the
display. Thank you to everyone involved in making this post card project such a wonderful success (….) “
