CASE IH PIONEER WORK BOOTRACINE, Wis.—Just like Case IH tractors, combines, sprayers
and crop production tools, you can fi nd advanced technology in the latest offering from Case IH—the Pioneer work boot. Designed specifi cally for Case IH with agricultural producers’ needs in mind, this boot provides the ultimate in comfort and safety.
Brown, tumbled, full-grain leather houses a composite toe, making the boot light-weight while retaining durability. Attached with Goodyear welt construction, the boot has an electrical hazard outsole with oil and skid resistance.
A soft Cambrelle lining leads the way to the porous Ortholite insole, which wicks away moisture, improves air circulation, inhibits odor and fungus growth and provides long-lasting cushioning. Built for comfort, the Pioneer work boot fl exes with the fi rst fi t, and the blucher lace-to-toe construction adjusts for customized comfort.

ATOM-JET HILLER TINESThe Atom-Jet research and development team has been
developing power hiller tines over the past two years as a result of grower interest in hiller tines with higher wearability and extended use.
Atom-Jet, which has been in the seeding opener business for over 20 years, was the fi rst company to institute the use of carbide on seeding tools. Since then, the company has continually invested in the development of carbide composition makeup and brazing technology. According to Cotton, they are excited to bring this technology and knowledge to the potato industry.
The patent-pending tines have been developed for popular brands such as Struik and Baselier, and Atom-Jet continues to work with producers for the development of tines specifi c to their own brands of power hillers.

BESTWAY RETRIEVER TRANSPORT HITCHHIAWATHA, Kan.—Bestway Inc., a leading specialty
agricultural equipment manufacturer, announces the addition
of a new model to the rapidly growing Retriever Transport Hitch product line. The new model is engineered for towing large drawn planters and other large implements with two-point or drawbar type hitches.
The Retriever Transport Hitch “Wet Kit” model utilizes a semi-tractor’s dual-acting Wet Kit (if so equipped) to provide the hydraulic power to the lift system of the Retriever Transport Hitch. The Retriever’s exclusive design allows switching from a CAT III, two-point hitch, to a CAT II in 10 seconds or less. For drawbar-type implements and planters, a removable Class III drawbar with 12,000 lb. tongue weight capacity is included with the hitch. A Category IV drawbar is available as an option.

LIPHATECH ROZOL VOLE BAITMILWAUKEE, Wis.—Rozol Vole Bait, packed in 50-pound
bags, is designed to control vole populations under demanding weather conditions. Formulated as a highly palatable, weather-resistant, paraffinized pellet, Rozol resists wet conditions before and after snow pack. Rozol Pellets’ high palatability is attributed to food-grade-quality grains. Rozol Vole Bait is a restricted-use pesticide, requiring applicators to be appropriately licensed to purchase and apply product.
Supplemental state 24(c) labels aerial application is presently limited to the states of Idaho and Washington. The supplemental Idaho label allows application on pivot corners and within 100 feet of the edge of cropland, permitting preventative barrier treatments around forage, grains, potatoes, sugarbeets and other crops that are particularly vulnerable to vole in-migration and feeding.
Rozol Vole Bait can be used year-round on non-crop areas, borders of cropped areas and commercial nurseries. Rozol pellets can be broadcast or spot applied at a rate of 10 lbs. per acre for meadow and mountain voles, or 20 lbs. per acre for pine voles.

ZONAR GPS TRACKINGSEATTLE, Wash.—Zonar, provider of electronic fl eet
inspection, tracking and operations systems, announced the
availability of a new patent-pending technology that adds fuel as a fi fth dimension to the fi rm’s HD-GPS reporting.
Employing Zonar’s patent-pending technology, fl eets will now be able to easily identify, with tremendous detail, the routes and lanes over which their vehicles are most and least fuel effi cient. The GPS sampling density increases when fuel consumption increases or “spikes” and relaxes when fuel consumption decreases or is relatively static.
In addition to fi ve-dimensional data sampling, Zonar’s telematics platforms transmit engine fault codes and verifi ed electronic vehicle inspection data in real-time. This information alerts maintenance personnel to potential service events and provides the ability to remotely diagnose vehicles in the case of a malfunction.

Proven results with reputable potato farmers Case studies available online
Water is at the heart of any agricultural operation. Without quality water, crops cannot get the sustenance they need and, as a result, farms produce at lower than desired levels. Past technologies for improving the quality of irrigation water have proven unsuccessful and extremely expensive. The Irrigation Enhancer is here to change all of that. More >>>
The Irrigation Enhancer neutralizes the negative effects of salinity, chloride, boron, calcium, magnesium and other contaminates commonly known to reduce water uptake in plants. More >>> The Irrigation Enhancer has a proven track record of increasing percolation, reducing plant stress, increasing plant heath, increasing yields and providing farmers with a real solution to water related challenges. Advertiser Ryan Bybee says, “(Potato Grower) starts in one office and moves through. Everybody reads it. It’s on top of things. It tells us what’s going on”.
Potato Grower advertiser Fred Rehrman says, "if the magazine is not being read, it has no value. We think Potato Grower is read every month". Part 2: “As an advertiser, we take advantage of that
