Let me begin by thanking you for your interest in coaching hockey for NHE Youth Hockey! Our organization has a long and rich tradition with hockey in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. In large measure that is due to dedicated people like you who selflessly give of their time to bring this great game to the young men and women of our community.

Whether this is your first year wanting to coach or you’re a seasoned veteran, everyone who is interested in a coaching position must complete and return our coaching application as soon as possible, positions will be filled as qualified applicants are found. Please make sure to fill out the applica-tion in its entirety. Our first and foremost goal is to match each coach with the team that can best utilize his or her experience.

We are excited this year as the upcoming tryouts approach. NHE has grown by leaps and bounds this past year and we have had success at all levels. We will provide you with guidelines in all aspects of running a team, not just ideas for practice drills. We are also very excited about the success of our goalie training program and our skills component.

2020-2021 NEW HAMPSHIRE EAST COACHING APPLICATION

NHE Youth Hockey Association requires that any person wishing to be appointed as a NHE Coach complete a Coaching Application to be reviewed by the Director of Hockey. In accordance with NH Hockey guidelines, coaches, both head and assistant, are required to obtain the required level of certification through the USA Hockey Coaching Achievement Program. In addition each coach will be required to comply with screening procedures in the NH Hockey District, and follow coaching guidelines set forth by NHE and USA Hockey.
