Case 1: Off-grid renewable microgrid for a poultry farm
• Remote location without nearby electrical distribution network access
• Client former option was an off-grid diesel genset working 24/7, which
entails high fuel and maintenance costs
• Norvento’s solution:
• Renewable microgrid integrating existing diesel genset
• 35 kWp rooftop solar PV
• 42 kWh lithium batteries
• 50 kVA Norvento Gridmaster Converter
• 76.4 % energy supplied by PV and batteries
• Energy costs reduced from 458 €/MWh to 253 €/MWh
