Coupling:

The single bearing alternator described above is directly coupled to the engine flywheel housing with SAE adaptor and flexible disc. The engine-alternator unit is assembled onto a solid steel base with the inclusion of composite rubber anti- vibration mounts fitted between the engine-alternator assembly and the underbase.
