You need great stories to get attention. It’s a story war. A great story is retold.
Storytelling drives business. I want to participate in your business development.
Storycrafting starts from scratch. It builds slowly, to finally end up bigger than expected.
In the era of PowerPoint and status updates, many of us have forgotten how to tell a good story.
Stories can be used to design customer experience and to improve services.

As a project director, my job was to lead, motivate and foster coordination across the multidisciplinary teams.
2 3 My 3 favorite projects
THE DIGITAS YEARS
socgen.com
« Socgen » had to revamp its corportae website, and launch a communication campaign on its new positionning « Red, Black and rising ». That’s what we dit.
airbus.com
We transformed the Airbus annual report into an interactive aeronautical portal for professionals, plane spotters, job seekers and journalists. We also created an online magazine, and a dedicated live website for Le Bourget.
citroenracing.com
Citroen had just launched a team in the FIA World Rallye Championship with a rookie called Sebastien Loeb. He is now the greatest driver of all times. The timeframe was almost impossible to meet.. It’s the last time I worked on new year’s eve.

During the past 10 years, I developed new businesses by evangelizing new customer experiences.

THE PROSODIE YEARS
Digital business developer
I drived the digitalization of our solutions by launching partnerships with software editors (iAdvize, Eptica, DiMello). When Prosodie acquired Backelite, a mobile agency, I became the Backelite evangelist of Prosodie.
Ecommerce consutant
I worked on the development of our Ecommerce offering. Our business model was to outsource the ecommerce operations of brands like Yves Rocher and Petit bateau.
New business line Creation & development
I now work in the international department of Prosodie. My mission is to develop our strategic partnership with Salesforce.com to generate business in Europe.
2006 to 2010 2011 to 2012 Since 2013

THE PROSODIE YEARS
Making a mobile application
conversational.
With a simple touch the
customer can call his
personal advisor without
knowing his phone number.
He can also send him a
message without knowing his
email. Or program an
appointment through a
connected agenda.
This application was
designed by Backelite and
powered by Prosodie’s
multichannel solution.
The mobile application « Mon Conseiller »
One of my achievements
This is a typical
solution I sold
as a digital
business
developer for
Prosodie &
Backelite.

THE PROSODIE YEARS What does my service line
bring to a Salesforce
customer?
Salesforce users can manage
all types of digital
interactions with their
customers: email, social,
chats.
There is one channel that is
not in Salesforce. The most
valuable channel. The voice
channel.
Odigo, Prosodie’s Cloud
Contact Center, is the voice
channel of Salesforce.
A new line of service (1/2)
Accelerating
international
business
development
with
Salesforce.

THE PROSODIE YEARS Our challenge
We started from scratch. We
met Salesforce executives in
Paris and San Francisco to
launch our partnership.
Competitors like Cisco, Avaya
and Genesys were already
working with Salesforce.
My responsibilities were to
develop new business, drive
the product team, produce
the marketing stories and
evangelize internally and
externally.
Achievements
Odigo is a certified partner,
available in the App
Exchange
Following the Dreamforce
2015 event, a technological
joint innovation has been
launched in San Francisco.
A dedicated product team is
now based in France and
India to deliver our roadmap.
Our customers include:
A new line of service (2/2)
Generating
6 millions €
per year by
the end of
2015.

EARLY YEARS IN NEW YORK
I always felt like an exiled New Yorker.
I spent my childhood in the Big Apple. I Love New York. I
guess my passion for storytelling comes from there.
I was raised watching Sesame Street, the Muppet Show, and
the Super Friends. I even started watching TV series like
Three’s Company, Gimme a Break, Happy Days and Hill Street
Blues.
I am a big ban of Seinfeld, Woody Allen and John Cassavettes.
This is me. At the time, my dream job
was to be a cartoonist

TOUR DE FRANCE
That’s me riding the amateur’s etape du tour de
France last july. I spent 10h11 on my bike to get my
« finisher » medal.

OUR BRAINS ON STORY
A story can put your whole brain to work
If we listen to a powerpoint presentation with bullet
points, it hits our language processing parts in the brain,
where we decode words into meaning.
When we are being told a story, things change
dramatically. Not only are the language processing
parts in our brain activated, but any other area in our
brain that we would use when experiencing the events
of the story are too.
21 |
WHY IS STORYTELLING SUCH A SCARCE RESOURCE?
Most people in business, including the most
successful ones are too busy living their
stories to focus on telling them.
They have in their minds competitive strategies, product
launches, financial analyses and marketing plans.
They see every single tree but don't have a forest view.
They think that for the audience to understand anything
they have to be told everything.
22 |
IN FRANCE DESCARTES STILL RULES
Especially in BtoB
Most engineers think storytelling is soft thinking.
They prefer deductive thinking. They are looking
for a universal truth.
A service is intangible. A story makes it real.
