PRESENTATION 15 years of experience as P. ENGINEER added to 29 years of experience as ATTORNEY AT LAW, he is a member of the Quebec Order of P. Engineer since 1974 and a member of the Quebec Bar since 1987. In 2009, he receives the designation Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb) from ADR Institute of Canada (ADR Canada) in recognition of his entire experience in arbitration and a competence at a high level. Chartered ARBITRATOR and MEDIATOR in civil, commercial, corporate and contractual matters ; accredited by ADRIO (ADR Institute of Ontario) and by IMAQ (Quebec Institute for Mediation and Arbitration) (both members of the ADR Institute of Canada group), by ICC Canada (Arbitration Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce), by ICDR Canada (AAA International Centre for Dispute Resolution), by CCAC (Canadian Commercial Arbitration Center), by CAM (Mexico Arbitration Centre), by the Canada Transportation Agency and by Barreau du Québec (Arbitration Committee). Since 1997, he has carried out over 160 arbitrations, as Sole Arbitrator or as Chair or Co-arbitrator ; in the field of Construction (Buildings, Civil Engineering Works, Highways), for the New Residential Buildings Guarantee Plan, in Business (Commercial, Insurance), and Corporate Law (+ joint ventures + shareholders agreements), Real Estate and Civil Law, at national and international levels, and for the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan, Corporate Legal Counsel, he was Vice-President of the Internal Review Board for Research and New Technologies of the MONTREAL HEARTH INSTITUTE ; and Secretary of the INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH/CREATION IN MEDIA ARTS AND TECHNOLOGIES (HEXAGRAM). He was member of the Task Force on Impartiality and Integrity of the QUEBEC BUILDING CONTROL BOARD ; and member of the Dejudicialization Committe of the Quebec CSST (Workers Compensation Board) (Co-author : “La déjudiciarisation du Régime québécois de Santé et de Sécurité du Travail”). Since 2012, he is lecturer at Carrefour Perfectionnement of POLYTECHNIQUE MONTRÉAL and at RÉSEAU DES INGÉNIEURS DU QUÉBEC. Robert speaks and writes French, English and Spanish fluently.
