Please use your full name (do not use initials e.g;Thomas Hugh– T. H.)

Please note the name you provide in the Name field would appear in the Course Completion Certificate as well.

Please fill in all mandatory fields.

Please use only your Corporate Email Address in Business Email Field.

Business Email Field is your USER ID also known as PowerLink ID

Do not use free mail addresses eg. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc – it would affect the authenticationand might not be successfully processed)


Select the security questions and answers. Note the same as it helps for password resetting

Enter the security code as it is. (Case sensitive)


To validate your account enter the validation code which has been sent to your business email ID and the password which you used along with your business email ID.

Check I agree to the terms of Use

Click Next


Select the appropriate relationship

Click on Choose Your Company


Select your company with the proper location


Use Change Company if necessary

Click Next


Upon completion, You will receive an email confirmation from the PowerLink team stating that yourrequest is in process and provided with a temporary Reglite status.

Reglite will have limited access to the EMC PowerLink and Education Websites until your profile isvalidated and provided with the appropriate access levels.

Correct information input would determine proper authentication of your Powerlink ID request.

Authentication might take up to 48 hours .

Incomplete/incorrect details will render your access to a Reglite status (Restricted access ).


Accept the Terms of Use.


After successful creation and authentication of the PowerLink ID , login to the http://powerlink.emc.comor http://education.emc.com using your new PowerLink ID.

Select Account Upgrade Information at the right hand side of your home page.

Please select Request Full Access Account


Update information accordingly.


You will receive an email from the PowerLink team giving you the link to set your password.

You are now given full access to the website.

PowerLink ID is essential for Training. It enables you to access eLearning modules, Online ILTs,registrations etc.
