Who are we, what do we do and why do we do it
• Who are we – Practical Performance Analyst was conceptualized and developed by Trevor Warren. The
community today at Practical Performance Analyst now consists of a global volunteer team of very
experienced & distinguished individuals who provide content on a regular basis. You can read more about
us at – About Us Section @ Practical Performance Analyst
• What do we do – The team at Practical Performance Analyst is focused on building a community platform
that advocates Proactive Performance Management including SPE (Systems Performance Engineering)
across the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle). We are also working on putting together a Body Of
Knowledge, Draft set of standards for all Performance Engineering related processes including
certifications which would eventually be leveraged by businesses around the world. You can read more
about us initiatives at – Initiatives Section @ Practical Performance analyst
• Why do we do it – Because we are tired of seeing organizations re-inventing the wheel time and making
expensive mistakes along the way, because we are tired of seeing the lack of easy access to knowledge in
this space and most importantly because we see the need for a universal set of open standards and
certifications that others can build upon. Read more about us and the work we do at – Practical
Performance Analyst Website
