Prof. K : Those prediction were highly exaggerated.However, in a hundred years' time at the present rate of consumption,we will have use all the available oil resource.Therefore, we need to find clean renewable fuel, especially for automobiles.

Prof. K : We are working on alternative sources of energy such as biodiesel, solar energy, electricity, and hydrogen.
Reporter : What will we be filling our car tanks with in twenty years' time?
Prof K : According to the U.S. National Engineering Academy, by 2024, half of all vehicles will be running on part electricity and part of gasoline.They also predict that by 2038, all the new cars produced in the U.S. will use hydrogen.

Reporter : That's a big change in relatively short period of time?
Prof. K : Yes, science nowadays advances very quickly,and changes in technology that affect people's every day lives can occur very fast.I wouldn't be surprised if most of us will be driving hydrogen-powered cars in the near future.
