The B-W PR Center provides students with real world PR campaigns. Organizations

through the community approach the clinic with PR campaigns they need initiated

and implemented. Through the Center, students work with non-profit organizations,

small businesses, political campaigns and other community initiatives.

In addition, the PR center helps promote Baldwin-Wallace organizations. Students

learn the benefits of helping their school with various events and promotions with

students, faculty and staff.

Depending on the campaign, students are

asked to utilize Photoshop, In Design,

Publisher and Movie Maker. Students

learn not only how to use these programs,

but also how to use them efficiently.

The B-W PR Center realizes the importance of

networking in the field of communications.

The center has brought many local companies

as well as professional organizations to become

connected with B-W students. This provides

internship opportunities and the chance for stu-

dents to develop a career path following gradu-

ation.

“The Field of Public Relations serves as a

vital communal resource, building upon

the foundation that helps our complex,

pluralistic society to reach decisions and

function more effectively by contributing

to mutual understanding among groups

and institutions. Technology and writing

can play an incredible role in serving that

the purpose of Public Relations is

implemented efficiently, creatively, and

effectively.”
