The aim of the experiment is to study the relationship between volume of water displaced and the mass of plasticine

Tujuan eksperimen ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara isiapdu air yang tersesar dan jisim pemberat di dalam air

ProceduresKaedah(a) Set up the apparatus as shown in the diagram 1

Pasangkan radas seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam rajah 1.

(b) Fill the eureka can with water exactly to the level as same as the diagram 1.Masukkan air ke dalam tin eureka sehingga paras yang ditunjukkan di dalam rajah 1.

(c) Put the 10g plasticine into the eureka can.Masukkan plastisin berjisim 10g ke dalam tin eureka.

(d) Observe the water displaced and take the reading of volume in a beaker.Perhatikan air yang tersesar dan ambil bacaan isipadu air di dalam bikar.

(e) Repeat the experiment using different mass of plasticine 20g, 30g, 40g and 50g.Ulang eksperimen dengan menggunakan jisim plastisin yang berbeza iaitu 20g, 30g, 40g and 50g.

(f) Record the volume of water displaced in the beaker.Catat bacaan isipadu air yang tersesar di dalam bikar.

(g) Tabulate your results of 10g, 20g, 30g, 40g and 50g in table 1.Jadualkan keputusan eksperimen bagi jisim 10g, 20g, 30g, 40g and 50g.

The aim of the experiment is to study the relationship between the length of hacksaw blade and the time taken for 10 complete oscillations.Tujuan eksperimen ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara panjang bilah gergaji dan masa yang diambil untuk 10 ayunan lengkap.

Pasangkan radas seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam rajah 2.

(b) Use the plasticine 20g and attached to the end of the hacksaw blade with l1= 25 cm as in the diagram 2.Gunakan jisim plastisin 20g dan letakkan pada hujung bilah gergaji pada panjang bilah l1= 25 cm seperti di dalam rajah 2.

(c) Pull the hacksaw blade to a fixed point and start the stopwatch for 10 oscilations. .Tarikkan bilah gergaji pada satu titik mula yang sama dan mulakan jam randik untuk 10 ayunan yang lengkap.

(d) Record the time taken by using the stopwatch.Catatkan bacaan masa pada jam randik .

(e) Repeat the experiment using different length of hacksaw blade 20.0 cm, 15.0cm, 10.0 cm and 5.0 cmUlang eksperimen dengan menggunakan panjang bilah gergaji yang berbeza iaitu 20.0 cm, 15.0cm, 10.0 cm and 5.0 cm

(f) Record the time taken by using the stopwatchCatat bacaan masa yang diambil menggunakan jam randik.

(g) Tabulate your results of t (time taken for 10 oscillations ), T (period) for every value of l.Jadualkan keputusan eksperimen bagi t (masa untuk 10 ayunan), T(tempoh masa untuk 1 ayunan)

bagi setiap panjang l bilah gergaji.

(i) Based on the graph, calculate the gradient, k.Berdasarkan graf, kirakan kecerunan graf, k.

(j) Calculate the frequency vibration of the molecules, f by using equationKirakan frekuensi getaran molekul, f dengan menggunakan persamaan

f = k x 3.657 m

where k is the gradient of the graph and m is mass of the plasticinedi mana k adalah kecerunan graf dan m adalah jisim plastisin.
