Participants will also develop skills in solar and small wind installation. You will receive extensive hands-on and theoretical training related to residential and commercial electrical installation as well as information on constructing, installing and maintaining small wind turbines and solar PV panels. Prerequisites: High School Diploma with official proof of pass mark in Applied 20 or equivalent and at least 10 credits in High School Science (or pass entrance exam). Required prior to course start date. Dates: January 30 – April 27, 2012 Time: Monday - Thursday : 9:00am - 3:15pm at the Lethbridge College Rural Training Centre in Vulcan, Fridays : 8:30am - 4:30pm at the Lethbridge College Fees: $4,825 plus approx. $350 for textbooks and $150 for the apprenticeship exam Funding may be available through Alberta Works and Canada Alberta Works Grant funding.
