I really enjoy watching some of Corridor digitals video’s as it has a view of what I want some of my video’s to be like. This is such as in this short movie they did on Dub-step Guns, which I am going to be using some of the effects similar to this like the rays coming out of the gun.

I also love this shot that Corridor Digital use as I find that the beams coming out of his hands really adapt to the storyline of Wizards. The angle of this shot is also very good because you can obviously see that the wizard is the primary subject without blurring the image by keeping a flat shot.

Production Schedule

I hope to be filming within the Easter holiday however in lessons I will be looking for suitable props and develop my idea even further.

I will be editing at home because I have a better variety of plug-ins and better software.

This would mean hopefully when I come back from the Easter break I will be almost done.

Script

My script will mainly consist of a Narrator narrating over the first part of my video, the narrators lines are:

At the dawn of the Ancient Times, a treasure shrouded in shadows was discovered in the catacombs of an ancient cave. For the next millennia this treasure travelled the Earth from one guardian to the next, leaving behind a trail of unknown dark energy. It became known as the Pulse Orb. Centuries later the Orb was purchased by a wealthy Russian nobleman with a taste for rare artefacts. The wealthy nobleman researched the Orb concluding he could harness clean energy. However the Pulse Orb could also be used for malicious crimes against humanity, creating it into weapon of mass destruction. But on this cold dry night a storm brewed, where a cataclysmic event was taking place leading to the obliteration of the orb and its owner. A century later a young teen ascended on an adventure to find the orb and retrieve it due to rumours of the orb existing. To his amazement he found a booklet; containing information on the Orb and its position. Being aware of the orb and its dark powers, the delinquent came prepared…

Budget

I am spending money on a Shoulder rig for my DSLR as well as props for my short film. I also hope to be doing special effects, which I may have to mainly do in after effects but I will also need a smoke machine for that amazing look.

Health and Safety

There is no serious risk to health and safety except from when we are filming in a cave as one of us can fall and break our foot or the tide can come in.

Legal and Ethical

I will need to get approval to be filming on someone else's land. I will also be informing the police that I am going to be filming with RIF (Realistic Imitation Firearms) so I wont get arrested.
