Quality Policy

GENERALThis Quality Program is the mean of assuring that all items of work are in conformance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, and describe the inspections and tests that will be performed.

QUALITY MEETINGThe Project Manager, before construction operation begins shall meet with the Engineer›s Representative or his representative on site to determine the Quality Program parameters and administrative interfaces with the Company regarding quality activities. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that there are no misunderstandings regarding the quality control requirements for the project and to develop a mutual understanding relative to the quality system including forms to be used for recording the quality control operations, inspection, tests, approvals and certifications. Method statement will be prepared and agreed, to organise the work properly.

APPLICATION OF THE QUALITY PROGRAMDuring the Quality Program meeting, unique project specific items requiring the addition or deletion to sections of the Quality Program will be identified. These additions, and/or deletions will be incorporated into the Project›s Quality Program and will be submitted to the Engineer›s Representative or his representative on site for review and approval.

REVISIONS TO THE QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAMProject Manager is responsible for the preparation, compilation, review, issuance, and maintenance and revision control of the Quality Program with the approval of the Engineer›s representative.

HEALTH AND SAFETY STATEMENT In all of its operations, BCC is guided by an established Health and Safety policy. This policy is based on a sincere desire to eliminate personal injuries, occupational illness and damage to equipment and property, as well as to protect the general public whenever and wherever the public comes in contact with, or is affected by the company’s work.

Company management and field supervisors are charged with the responsibility for planning safety into each work task with the goal of avoiding incidents, conditions and actions that could lead to occupational injuries or illness. While the ultimate success of a Health and Safety program depends upon the full cooperation of each individual employee, it is management’s responsibility to see that Health and Safety rules and procedures are established and enforced.Safety should never be sacrificed for production. It must be considered an integral part of quality control, cost reduction and job efficiency. Every supervisor will be held accountable for the safety performance demonstrated by the employees under his supervision.

The goal is the total elimination of accidents from our operations. There are three sound reasons for this goal: -1.A worthy business endeavor need not cause human suffering through disabling injury occupational illness, or loss of life.2.A superior Health and Safety record reflects the superior professional competence and serves to promote business thereby contributing to the continued growth and success of the company.3.
