This engaging learning experience allows children to play at their ownpace, while providing a fun-filled opportunity to learn about letter sounds, early math,reasoning and other school readiness skills.

In addition to presenting a variety of curricular areas, Sesame Street® Let’s Go toPreschool™ provides multiple levels of game play to support children's growth anddevelopment. This approach enables children to progress to the next level of difficultybased on a series of correct responses. At each stage, children are encouraged to dotheir personal best and congratulated on their success.

Getting Started

Minimum System Requirements

For Microsoft Windows

450MHz or faster processor (or equivalent), 256 MB of RAM, 1GB Free Hard Disk Space, CDdrive, Microsoft Windows XP/Vista.

For the MAC

PowerPC® G4 500MHz or faster processor, or Intel Core™ Duo 1.83GHz or faster processor,CD drive, Mac OS X v.10.2.x and later

Installing the Program

For Microsoft Windows

To install the software on Microsoft Windows:

1. Insert the Sesame Street® Let’s Go to Preschool™ CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

If you have Autorun enabled, the setup screen will open automatically.

If Autorun is disabled on your computer, go to My Computer, open your CD-ROMdrive and open the setup.exe file.

In Windows Vista, if you have trouble finding the Run command in your Start menu,you can also go to Computer, use the right mouse button to click on the icon for yourCD drive, select Explore from the menu that appears, and then double-click on the“Setup” application.

2. Click Install and follow the on-screen directions to complete the installation.

To start the program, double-click on the Let’s Go to Preschool™ icon on your desktop, orchoose Sesame Street/Sesame Street-Let’s Go To Preschool from the Programs list in theStart menu.

For the Mac

To install the software on the Mac:

1. Insert the Sesame Street® Let’s Go to Preschool™ CD into the CD-ROM drive.2. Double click the Sesame Street Installer.pkg to start the installer. Note: If you do not see

the Sesame Street Installer.pkg, double-click the CD icon.3. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.

To start the program, navigate to the folder Macintosh HD/Applications/Sesame Street-Let’s Goto Preschool/. (Or, if you picked a different folder during installation, navigate to that folderinstead.) Once there, double-click on the Preschool icon to launch the game.

For your convenience, you might want to create an alias to launch the game from your desktop.Click once on the Let’s Go to Preschool™ icon to select it, then hold down the Cmd (Apple) keyand press the letter l. An icon for the new alias will appear. Click and drag the alias to your

desktop. (Be careful not to move the actual application by mistake. The Let’s Go toPreschool™ alias icon will be the one with the arrow in its bottom left corner.)

Uninstalling the Program

For Microsoft Windows

Windows Vista:

1. Click on the Start button, then select Control Panel (or Settings>Control Panel). ClickUninstall a program.

2. Select Let’s Go to Preschool™, and then click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen directions tocomplete the uninstall.

Windows XP:

1. Click on the Start button, then select Control Panel (or Settings>Control Panel).

2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

3. Select Let’s Go to Preschool™, and then click Remove. Follow the on-screen directions tocomplete the uninstall.

For the Macintosh

Drag the Let’s Go to Preschool™ folder to the Trash & empty the Trash.

Getting Around

Star Pointer

Your mouse pointer is a star. As you move the star around the screen, some objectswill highlight or sparkle, inviting you to click on them.

Bob, Maria, or the Muppet host identifies some items when you roll the star pointer overthem.

If you pause the star pointer over an item, the Muppet host will give you a hint aboutwhat to do next.

You can click on the Muppet host at any time to hear the instructions again.

The star pointer works the same way in all the activities.

Activity Palette

The activity palette can be found in the upper left-hand corner of each activity.Click on the activity palette at any time to return to the Main Menu to choose anew activity or exit the game.

Forward/Back IconsTwo green arrows appear at the bottom of the activity window, one facing right and one facingleft. To move to the next activity or return to the previous activity, click on one of these arrows.

Click on this arrow to return to the previous activity.

Click on this arrow to move to the next activity.

Note: The arrow to return to the previous activity is not present on the initial screen of anycontent area.

Difficulty Levels & Hints

Some of the activities have progressive levels of difficulty. The program tracks correct andincorrect answers, and if you are able to answer a series of questions correctly, without usingany hints, the game progresses to the next level.

If you answer a question incorrectly, the Muppet host offers hints to guide you to the correctanswer. If you have repeated difficulty answering the questions, the game automatically movesback to the easier level.

The Muppet hosts offer encouragement and congratulations throughout the game.

Note: Automatic tracking of difficulty level is for the current game session only. When you quitLet’s Go to Preschool™, this tracking information is discarded.

PAPERCLIPS & MOVIES

Find the PaperclipsErnie has hidden Bert’s paperclips. Listen carefully to the clues to find the hidden paperclips. Itgets more difficult to find them as you progress through the three levels of difficulty.

Place the star pointer over the object you think that the paperclips are hidden behind. Click onthe object to uncover the paperclips.

Click on the right arrow to start the next activity.

Making SentencesHelp Elmo and Bob make sentences using pictures.

Using the Star Pointer, select a triangle, a square, and a circle to create a sentence. Once youhave created a sentence, a short video will play.

Click on the left or right arrow to return to the Find the Paperclips game.

LETTERS AND WORDS

LettersHelp Elmo find the correct letter for the object pictured.

Using the Star Pointer, select the letter that the pictured item begins with. Elmo will alsopronounce the letter you must choose.

Two-Letter Word FamiliesHelp Zoe create different words within two-letter word families.

Using the Star Pointer, create words by clicking on objects. Zoe will help pronounce the wordsas you create them.

Two-Letter Word Families: Find the First Letter/LettersBert and Ernie need your help to complete the word. Find the first letter of the pictured word.

There are two levels to this activity. The second level uses consonant blends rather than singleletters. Once you create a word, Bert and Ernie will help you pronounce it.

Nova Development (“Nova Development”) hereby grants you (either an individualperson or a single legal entity) a non-exclusive license to use the Sesame Street® Let’s Go to Preschool™software and related documentation (collectively, the “Software”) solely in accordance with the terms andconditions of this license agreement (“License”). This License sets forth your rights and responsibilities andother terms and conditions that relate to your use of the Software. Before you use the Software, please readthis License as carefully as you would read any other legal document. If you do not agree with all of the termsand conditions of this License, do not use the Software and return it within 30 days of purchase in accordancewith the procedure set forth in the Money Back Guarantee section below for a full refund. Your installation oruse of the Software means that you have read and agree to all of the terms and conditions of this License.

2. Reservation of Rights. Nova Development hereby reserves all rights not expressly granted by thisLicense. Nothing in this License constitutes a sale or grant of any ownership rights in or to the Software.

3. Permitted Use. You may install and/or use one copy of the Software on a single computer. IF AMATERIAL DEFECT OCCURS WITHIN 90 DAYS, YOU MAY RETURN THE SOFTWARE TO NOVADEVELOPMENT FOR A FREE REPLACEMENT.
