Understanding what a prefix is and how it changes themeaning of a word is an important skill for vocabulary enrichment.Being able to recognize that certain words are made up of rootsand prefixes almost always helps in learning the spelling andpronunciation of such words and often helps in arriving at theirmeanings.
This book provides a variety of exercises that will help studentsidentify prefixes, learn their meanings, and gain the skill to usethese prefixes to make new words from roots words. Included area pre/post test and an answer key.
