“It Doesn’t Mean They Aren’t Hiring”
The best advice I can give to someone looking to break into the industry is to stay
focused and don’t assume that one company saying “no” is the final word on your
career.
Send your resumé to every video game company you can find, even if they don’t
have the specific job you want. Just because they don’t list any positions on
their “career” page, it does not mean that they aren’t hiring.

“Anyone Can Find a Crash Bug . . .”

Will I play this game almost every day, for the next million
months, with a smile on my face, sharp eyes and ears,
faithfully reporting every bug I see?!
If you answered “yes,”
you just might make it as a professional video game tester.
