PRESEASON TRAINING TACTICAL AND PREDOMINANT FITNESS SCHEDULE
This schedule gives an overview of the first week of preseason and how we have organized
the practices to (a) concentrate on the Model of our Game (i.e. how we want to play), and
(b) how we change the predominant energy requirements for each practice.
Strength = soccer specific strength (i.e. acceleration, deceleration, turning, jumping, falling
over, etc)
Endurance = close to the actual game larger numbers, bigger field
Speed = very little contact, more pure speed of action and technique (e.g. passing, receiving,
counter attacking, etc.)
