Ascension Sunday of Easter May 24, 2020
Dear Parishioners: Churches will be opening a little more starting next weekend. We might be a little crowded on Sat. next because we will have our 9 can-didates in the RCIA with us. Five will be baptized and all will receive Confirmation and Holy Communion. You are however dispensed from the obligation to attend for rest of the yr. If your health is compromised do not attend. You must socially dis-tance 6 ft. except immediate family or household can sit together. Some pews are blocked off. The blue tape will mark the spots! If all spaces are taken you will need to go to the gym for Holy Communion only. Once again, the Sat. evening mass will live stream at 4:30 p.m. and will be available all-day Sunday. We can keep Sunday holy through prayer and sacrifice. See the web site for the link (presenationdenver.org.) Groups of ten or less can visit the church. You can listen to a local mass on 1060 am. at 9 a.m. or watch one at 6:30 a.m. on channel 12. Public masses on weekdays are at 8 a.m. M – Fri. You can visit the church any day at 8 a.m. except Sat. – 3:30 p.m. Confessions.
Give to the ACA. The Archbishop is giving Presentation $3500 for the appeal. The parish is having a serious financial crisis. Please send your contributions by mail to 665 Irving, Denver, CO 80204 or make them online at the parish website. Or bring them to church. Please help! I sincerely want to thank those who are continuing to send us offerings online or bringing them by the church or rectory. We have also re-ceived gifts from previous donors and received the small business loan.
We will do anointings if you call my cell: 970-471-1641 if we can visit your home. We are still not allowed to visit the hospitals unless the hospital deems the patient critical. You may approach me for confes-sion or anointing at the church. Or call for an appointment.

Adoption: The Loving and Caring Option
In the U.S., there are approximately two million couples waiting to adopt .
Clearly, this is absolutely tragic. Many good, loving families are waiting throughout our
nation for a baby whom they want to cherish, value, and raise for the rest of that baby’s
life.
Adoption – especially the adoption of a newborn baby – almost always involves a loving,
excited couple who have dreamed for years of holding and caring for their own special
treasure.
Do mothers considering abortion realize that families actually go on waiting lists to adopt
newborn babies? Do they realize that some couples wait years to adopt the baby they’ve
desperately waited to hold in their arms? Do mothers realize how many experienced par-
ents with wisdom, resources, and plenty of love are reaching out to adopt another child –-
no matter his or her race, gender, or disability?
We need to let mothers know that they can handpick their babies’ adoptive families. They
can choose an open adoption, where they see their babies at certain times throughout the
year. They can choose a partially open adoption, where they receive photos and updates
about their children’s lives. Or they can choose a closed adoption and give their babies
completely over to their adoptive families. We must let expectant mothers know that adop-
tion is the loving, caring option.
